November  2015

From the Office:

The Indianapolis Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Indianapolis Bar Association, held their annual Evening Under the Stars dinner and auction on Friday, October 9th at the Crane Bay event center in downtown Indianapolis. BKR’s Erin Durnell served as the co-chair of the event this year, along with Meaghan Haller from Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP. The planning committee was comprised of about 20 area attorneys, including BKR’s Jesse Pace. Over 400 people attended the black-tie optional event this year, and the fundraiser met its goal of $80,000 raised through the silent and live auctions, and the “donate now” option. The Indianapolis Bar Foundation funds all of the pro bono efforts of the Indianapolis Bar Association, and over the last five years as served more than 18,000 Hoosiers. BKR is a proud supporter of the IndyBar and the Foundation, which provides access to justice for those in our community who would not otherwise be able to afford it.

Jesse Pace will be serving as the attorney-adviser for the Sheridan High School Mock Trial Team this winter.

On a Personal Note:

BKR is participating in a Thanksgiving food drive this year to provide families with a Thanksgiving meal. All donations will be sent to Kids Voice of Indiana.

Our office will be closed Thursday, November 25th and Friday, November 26th for the holiday weekend. Gobble Gobble!
