The 2016 ABA Section of Family Law Fall CLE Conference will be held on October 19-22 in Quebec, Canada. Melanie Reichert is a speaker and Melissa Avery is the Vice Chair of the ABA Family Law Section. To register, Click Here.

Nissa Ricafort will be participating in the Indianapolis Bar Association’s “Ask a Lawyer” event on October 11th. This a one-day event where free legal advice will be provided by qualified, licensed attorneys as a service to our community. Members of the Indianapolis Bar Association will be available for free consultations at various Public Library locations throughout the city of Indianapolis. Nissa will be working at the Lawrence Township Library from 2-4pm.

On October 14, 2016, the Indianapolis Bar Foundation will host its annual Evening Under the Stars dinner and auction at the Biltwell Event Center. This is the largest fundraiser of the year for the organization. The IBF funds all of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s pro bono initiatives, providing legal services to Hoosiers who might not otherwise be able to afford counsel. BKR’s Erin Durnell has assisted the planning committee this year after serving as the co-chair in 2015.
