November 2018

From the Office:

Melissa Avery had the honor to speak at the Iowa State Bar Association Family Law Seminar I Des Moines, Iowa on October 25, 2018, regarding preparing witnesses for trial and getting around the hearsay objection. Melissa is pictured below with co-presenters, Stacey Warren (DesMoines, Iowa), and Amanda Trigg (Hackensack, New Jersey).

Erin Durnell also recently served as a presenter for a legal seminar when she spoke to the Boone County Bar Association and the three Boone County Circuit and Superior Court Judges on Friday, November 2nd regarding mental health and personality disorders in family law.

Our family law team is proud to announce that Melanie Reichert and Erin Durnell will both serve on the Indianapolis Bar Foundation Board of Directors for 2019. Erin Durnell will serve as an at-large member and Melanie has been named as Counsel to the Board.

We recognize that sometimes you need to have a little fun at work, so we celebrated Halloween at the office with a costume party. Congratulations to our costume winners Michelle and Fanny!

Please note that our office will be closed Thursday, November 22nd and Friday, November 23rd for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Gobble Gobble!
