As part of her duties as President Elect of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Nissa Ricafort is attending the National Conference of Bar Presidents Mid-Year Meeting from February 3-6, 2016.
“We are proud to announce that on January 27, 2016, Melanie Reichert and Erin Durnell were installed as members of the 2016 Board of Directors for the Indianapolis Bar Foundation. Additionally, Nissa Ricafort was installed at President Elect of the 2016 Indianapolis Bar Association Board of Directors.”
Melissa Avery will be attending the American Bar Association Mid Year Meeting in San Diego, CA in her capacity as an Officer of the ABA Family Law Section and as Chair of the Indiana Fellows of the ABA. The Mid Year Meeting runs from February 3-8, 2016.
Amanda Blystone and Erin Durnell are the latest BKR attorneys to be trained in collaborative divorce. Collaborative law is a formal process divorcing spouses can choose, in an effort to move themselves (and their family) in a positive direction post-divorce. Amanda, Erin, and the rest of their collaboratively-trained colleagues at BKR hope to help more families focus on the future beyond divorce, by engaging in the practice of collaborative law. On a Personal Note:
Amanda Blystone’s Girls on the Run season starts in May. This year, the program is expanding to include grades 6, 7, and 8 (previous years it’s only been grades 3-5). She started the program in 2012 and is in their 5th season. Good luck runners!
