February 2018

From the Office:

Melissa Avery, Chair Elect of the American Bar Association Family Law Section, attended the ABA Mid-Year Meeting in Vancouver, BC on February 1-5, 2018 where she learned the latest updates and trends in the legal profession.

Jennifer Hostetter will be a faculty member for the Indiana Continuing Education Forum’s upcoming Domestic Relations Training class on February 14-18, 2018. Jennifer will be teaching the four-hour class on domestic violence and special considerations for mediation.

Correction to last month’s Newsletter: Jennifer Hostetter is slated for election as 2018. President of the Boone County Bar Association. The election will occur on February 23, 2018 at the BCBA Annual Meeting at Ulen Country Club in Lebanon. Following the annual meeting will be a masquerade dinner and casino night. Both Jennifer and fellow BKR attorney Erin Durnell serve on the planning committee for the annual meeting and dinner. Our previous newsletter incorrectly indicated that Ms. Hostetter was already serving as president, and that Ms. Durnell would be serving as secretary/treasurer. We apologize for our error.
