From the Office:

Some of our attorneys have been busy with training. Mike Wilkins completed Basic Collaborative Training, while Melissa Avery and Joni Sedberry join our team of Parenting Coordinators.

Joni Sedberry will be earning CLEs and networking with other attorneys at this year’s ISBA’s Small/Solo Firm Conference in French Lick, Indiana.

Amanda Blystone has formed a team from BKR to participate in the Race Away from Domestic Violence, a 5K run/walk/wheelchair roll to benefit the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Erika Jimenez, from our immigration side of the firm; Undranita Kinnard and Melanie Reichert will join her June 7th at Victory Field.

Our family law group will see the Indianapolis Indians take on the Gwinnett Braves on June 18th for the Hamilton County Bar Association’ annual baseball outing.

This year’s Indy Bench Bar will be in Cincinnati, June 19th-21st. Melanie Reichert is co-chairing the Bench Bar Planning Committee with Justice Steven David of the Indiana Supreme Court, with Amanda Blystone and Erin Durnell serving on the committee. All our family law attorneys will be attending the conference.

Melanie Reichert chaired the IBF Impact Fund Grant committee and presented a $35,000 check to the Joseph Maley Foundation. IBF distinguished fellows, Nissa Ricafort, Erin Durnell and Amanda Blystone voted on the two finalists. See our website or Facebook page for more about the Joseph Maley Foundation.
